We drove to the Underhill State Park. We walked up the Eagle Cut Trail to the CCC Road. We hiked up the Sunset Ridge Trail. We went out to Cantilever rock. We continued up the Sunset Ridge Trail to the Long Trail and on to the Chin. We went back south on the Long trail to the Subway Trail to the Cliff Trail to Wall Street to the top of the gondola. We went down ski trails to the cut into the Long Trail and down to 108 for pick up.
Lunches:
PB and raspberry jam sandwich, Gorp
Pepper jack cheese on raisin bread sandwich, Dale’s raw bar, carrots, banana

August 8, 2017 Mount Mansfield West

We drove to the Underhill State Park. We walked up the Eagle Cut Trail to the CCC Road. We hiked up the Sunset Ridge Trail. We went out to Cantilever rock. We continued up the Sunset Ridge Trail to the Long Trail and on to the Chin. We went back south on the Long trail to the Cliff Trail to the top of the gondola. We went down ski trails to the cut into the Long Trail and down to 108 for pick up.

We drove to the Underhill State Park. We walked up the Eagle Cut Trail to the CCC Road. We hiked up the Sunset Ridge Trail. Some went out to Cantilever rock. We continued up the Sunset Ridge Trail to the Long Trail and on to the Chin. We split up. My group went back south on the Long trail to the Cliff Trail to the top of the gondola. Oliver's group went South of the long trail to the subway trail and onto the North Canyon extension trail. Back up to the long trail to the Cliff Trail and through Wall Street. Then back to the top of the gondola. We all went down ski trails to the cut into the Long Trail and down to 108 for pick up.
Lunches:
Three people had PB&J sandwich, cheddar & lettuce sandwich, carrots and hummus, Trail mix, hot tea
Two fruit cups
Two people had Trail mix, lemonade, banana
Rice, carrots, pork, Chia seeds, oil, vinegar, mustard, honey, salt

July 25, 2017 Mount Mansfield West

We drove to the Underhill State Park. We walked up the Eagle Cut Trail to the CCC Road. We hiked up the Halfway House Trail to the Canyon South Trail. Down through the Chimney and Through the Lemon Squeeze. At the Long Trail we walked north to the Visitors’ Center. We then went north on the Amherst Trail back to the Long Trail. We continued to the Chin and on to Route 108 for pick up.
Lunches:
Roast Beef Sandwich, Almonds
Turkey Sandwich, Almonds, Peach
Rice, carrots, pork, Chia seeds, oil, vinegar, mustard, honey, salt
Hike to the Chin was 13,800 steps by my Fitbit.
Hike down was 9,367 steps by my Fitbit.

We drove to the Stevensville Trail Head. We hiked up the Frost Trail to the Maple Ridge Trail to the Forhead. We continued on the Long Trail north to the visitors center and down the Toll Road to the Stone Hut. We went down the Hazelton Trail to meet Jay at 3:30 at the base of the Gondola. Oliver got some string from the Stowe maintenance people to tie the battery box to the bottom of the bus.

Peanut butter sandwich, planters nuts and chocolate, raisins, goldfish, Kind bar
Rice, carrots, pork, Chia seeds, oil, vinegar, mustard, honey, salt

We drove to Underhill State Park. Hiked to the trail on the CCC road. We hiked up the Half Way House Trail and onto the Canyon North Trail. We split at the Canyon Extension Trail with some going up to the Long Trail and some continuing on the Canyon Extension Trail to the short cut before the Subway. We all had lunch to the Chin. We continued on the Long Trail north to meet Jay at 3:30 on route 108.

Peanut butter and jam - carrot marmalade
Buffalo chicken and monster cheese and seventh grain, Trail mix, , Apple slices with lemon juice, carrot, tomato

Peanut butter sandwich, cheese it, Clif bar
Empancas with couscous, tomato, lentil, potato, pretzels and peanut butter
Two avocados cheese banana

We drove to Underhill State Park. Hiked to the trail on the CCC road. We hiked up the Sunset Ridge Trail, out to Cantilever rock, and on to the Long Trail. We ate lunch at the Chin. One person left to run down the Long Trail north, up to Sterling Pond and back to the resort. The rest went back south on the Long Trail to the Subway Trail and then down the Cliff Trail to the top of the gondola. We went down ski trails to cut back onto the Long Trail. We met Jay at 2:45 for our ride back to Smuggs.
Lunches:
Two slices of whole wheat bread, black bean burger
Ham and cheese sandwich, ranch doritos, Oreos
PB&J sandwich, dried apples, nuts
Couscous, beans, avocado avocado, salsa, pretzel, PB
Two PB & honey cinnamon sandwiches, two strawberries, Doritos, two Trail bars
Chex mix, trail mix

We drove to Underhill State Park. Hiked to the trail on the CCC road. We hiked up the Sunset Ridge Trail to a point just before you get to the exposed rocks. Thunder and rain turned us around. We stopped at Cantilever Rock on our way down. We continued south on the CCC road to the Burlington Overlook. We returned to the state park where Jay picked us up.
Lunches:
Both had P3 - a prepackaged protein pack with Jerky, Peanuts, and Sunflower seeds.

We drove to Underhill State Park. Hiked to the trail on the CCC road. We hiked up the Sunset Ridge Trail to the Long Trail and onto the Chin for lunch. We continued north on the Long Trail to Route 108 where Jay picked us up.
