Mt Mansfield West - July 28, 2009

Hike: We drove to Underhill State Park on the West side of Mt. Mansfield. We hiked up the CCC road to the trail head. Ed took one group up the Sunset Ridge trail. One guest RAN ahead to the Chin in 68 minutes. He waited over 2 hour for the rest of us to get there. I took the other group up the Halfway House Trail. We then took the Canyon North trail to the Canyon Extension trail and on to the Subway. We went on the Long Trail to the Chin for lunch. We met Ed's group at the Chin. We then went down the Long Trail to the bus at RT 108.
