August 9, 2016 Mount Mansfield West

We drove to Underhill State Park. Hiked to the trail on the CCC road. Matt took one group up the Halfway House Trail and onto the Canyon North, Canyon Extension, and Subway trails and to the Long Trail. I took another group up the Sunset Ridge Trail. We all met where the Sunset Ridge Trail meets the Long Taril. We went on to the Chin for lunch. We continued down to the Long Trail. We met Jay on Route 108 for our ride back to Smuggs.
Lunches:

PB&J on multigrain sandwiches (2x), trail mix
Half ham and cheese sandwich, chips, trail mix

Tuna, cinnamon, red pepper, mayonnaise, mustard sandwich
Orange, PB&J on great harvest bread, carrots

My FitBit showed 10,976 steps (4.82 miles) and 251 flights of stairs up to where we ate lunch and 10,257 steps (4.5 miles) and 3 flights of stairs down for a total of 21,233 steps, 9.32 miles, and 254 flights of stairs

August 2, 2016 Mount Mansfield West

We drove to Underhill State Park. Hiked to the trail on the CCC road. We went up the Halfway House Trail and onto the Canyon North, Canyon Extension, and Subway trails and to the Long Trail to the Chin. We all eat lunch there. We headed back south to take the Cliff trail to Wall Street and down to the top of the gondola. We took ski trails down to the Long Trail. We met Jay on Route 108 for our ride back to Smuggs.
Lunches:
Ham, Turkey, pickle, spicy mustard on a sub,  peach, Congo bar
PB & banana sandwich, cashews, trail mix
Quesada, pretzels, wafer bar
PB sandwich, two protein bars, nuts
Turkey, cheese sandwich, nuts
Almond butter sandwich, peach, popcorn, granola bar
Rice, carrots, hamburg, chia seeds, olive oil, vinegar, salt all mixed up in a pot
Turkey, cheese, lettuce sandwich, more cheese,nuts, Skinny popcorn

My FitBit showed 11,686 steps (5.12 miles) up to where we ate lunch and 10,594 steps (4.65 miles) down for a total of 22,280 steps and 9.77 miles.
